The Hightech Award of the Bavarian Minister-President acknowledges scientific milestones in key technologies of the future. The Pioneer Award of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities honours exceptional technological achievements that have a broad impact on society. The Young Talent Award and Graduate Award of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts recognises visionary research work that displays high innovation potential as well as outstanding university degrees.

Der Hightech-Preis des Bayerischen Ministerpräsidenten ehrt herausragende Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler, die mit ihrer visionären Forschung die Welt verändern können – ganz im Sinne der Hightech Agenda Bayern. Das Preisgeld in Höhe von 300.000 Euro kommt der Forschung zugute.
